Free Quilt Design Software
QuiltAssistant is free design-software that can help you to turn your photos into quilts. Rather than the traditional approach of breaking up the photo into little squares ('watercolor style') it allows you to divide the photo into pieces of arbitrary size and shape. On completing your design, you can print templates including seam allowances. 'I am so happy to have found eQuilter! You offer fabrics that I can't find anywhere but your website / store. Verizon phone serial number check. Shipping is speedy too! Thank you eQuilter staff!'

From McCaw Designs: This app simplifies and speeds up the process of designing, building, and finishing a quilt. If you're like me, you like creating quilts. Sometimes, you use a pattern and every step is finely detailed. A lot of the time, you create a quilt based on another quilt or pattern you've seen. You might make your quilt smaller or larger. You might make your quilt use some aspects of other quilts. If you're not using an exact pattern with exact measures, this application will be very useful. In the past 3 years, I've created over 50 quilts. Along the way, I learned a few time saving techniques and relearned some geometry. I've also repeated a few calculations on every quilt, such as the number of fabric strips for each quilt's bindings. I've shrunk quilt dimensions to save fabric and/or to provide a quilt for a twin bed instead of a king. I've loaded this application with calculations I either regularly make or I never want to manually make again (Square Hypotenuse and Square & Triangle Calculators). I'm researching more calculators that will be available in updates. If you have a need for another calculator, please let me know. This first update includes a new calculator and the addition of 3 Pattern helper calculators.
