Kamen Rider W Flash Driver
Kamen Rider W (Double) is the most recent Rider show that I've seen all the way through. As you may or may not recall, the last Rider show I have seen in its entirety before this was Agito, so there's a relatively big time and style gap in between these two shows. While investigating reports of counterfeit Televi-Kun magazines, Shinnosukes finds himself outmatched by a Roidmude that replicates his Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed form and overpowers him. To counter the fraud Kamen Rider, Shinnosuke has the Speed Shift Car remodeled to fight back as Kamen Rider Drive Type High Speed.

Kamen Rider Zi-O (仮面ライダージオウKamen Raidā Jiō)[1] is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's Kamen Rider Series. It is the twenty-ninth television series overall, as well as the twentieth and final series in the Heisei period.[2] Toei registered the Kamen Rider Zi-O trademark on May 5, 2018.[3] The show premiered on September 2, 2018, following the finale of Kamen Rider Build, joining Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger and later, the miniseries Super Sentai Strongest Battle, followed by Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger in the Super Hero Time line-up. The series has a time travel/multiverse motif while paying a tribute to all of the previous Heisei-era Kamen Riders, in a similar fashion as Kamen Rider Decade. The series and related films also feature returning actors reprising their roles from the previous Heisei series.

Plot[edit]
Sougo Tokiwa, a high school student born in the year 2000, dreams of one day becoming a king. Suddenly, he meets a mysterious girl named Tsukuyomi, who's come from the year 2068 with an ominous warning: 'You will become Kamen Rider Zi-O, the King of Time; the demon destined to rule the world.' Despite being troubled by his possibly cursed fate, Sougo becomes Kamen Rider Zi-O in order to save the space-time continuum from the Time Jackers, a group seeking to alter the history of the Heisei Kamen Riders for their own ends. He is aided in his quest by Geiz Myokoin, a resistance fighter from 2068 capable of becoming Kamen Rider Geiz who initially intended to kill Sougo to prevent his future tyranny, and a self-titled prophet named Woz who wants the youth to become the tyrant Ohma Zi-O, who later gains the power to become Kamen Rider Woz. Along their journey, Sougo and his friends meet several Kamen Riders from the past and their allies; earning their trust and obtaining their powers.
Eventually, Sougo discovers that Swartz, the Time Jackers' leader, is actually Tsukuyomi's older brother and was manipulating both the Riders and his fellow Jackers in his plan to fuse all of the parallel worlds from the Kamen Rider multiverse into a single, unified world in order to destroy it and prevent his own world from being destroyed. Despite their best efforts, Sougo and his allies fail to stop Swartz until the former finally accepts his destiny and becomes Ohma Zi-O to destroy him. However, instead of taking control of the world as it was foretold he would do, Sougo renounces his powers in order to undo all of Swartz's damage; creating a new reality where he lives in peace with Geiz, Tsukuyomi, and the other Time Jackers.

Kamen Rider Double[edit]
Kamen Rider Double (仮面ライダー
Normally, Double uses different combinations of Gaia Memories to access various combinations of powers, weapons, strengths, and weaknesses through Half Changes (ハーフチェンジHāfu Chenji), switching from one form to another by switching out one or both Gaia Memories in the belt in a Memory Change (メモリチェンジMemori Chenji). Each Half Change uses a Maximum Drives (マキシマムドライブMakishimamu Doraibu) finisher, which is designed to destroy a Dopany's Gaia Memory via Memory Break (メモリブレイクMemori Bureiku).
- CycloneJoker (サイクロンジョーカーSaikuron Jōkā): Double's default form using the Cyclone and Joker Memories, the most well-balanced of Double's usual form with his wind-powered kicks having increased damage and cutting potential. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is a Rider Kick called the Joker Extreme (ジョーカーエクストリームJōkā Ekustorīmu), during which a tiny controlled tornado lifts Double into the air before the Kamen Rider's body splits down the middle as the halves reach their target in a drop kick fashion before reconnecting.
- CycloneMetal (サイクロンメタルSaikuron Metaru): A Half Change accessed through the Cyclone and Metal Memories, using the Metal Shaft to creates blades of wind. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is the Metal Twister (メタルツイスターMetaru Tsuisutā) where Kamen Rider Double spins around while swinging the Metal Shaft covered in an aura of wind.
- CycloneTrigger (サイクロントリガーSaikuron Torigā): A Half Change accessed through the Cyclone and Trigger Memories, using the Trigger Magnum to shoot out highly compressed air. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is the Trigger Aerobuster (トリガーエアロバスターTorigā Earobasutā), firing multiple shots of pressurized air at the enemy.
- HeatMetal (ヒートメタルHīto Metaru): Double's form using the Heat and Metal Memories, considered the strongest, yet slowest of the 9 forms while imbuing the Metal Shaft with fire to increase its destructive abilities. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is the Metal Branding (メタルブランディングMetaru Burandingu), causing one or both ends of the Metal Shaft to ignite on fire and deliver a final blow to the opponent. First used in Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker.
- HeatJoker (ヒートジョーカーHīto Jōkā): A Half Change form accessed through the Heat and Joker Memories, enabling Double to throw flaming punches. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is a Rider Punch called the Joker Grenade (ジョーカーグレネードJōkā Gurenēdo), during which Kamen Rider Double somersaults in mid-air, then HeatJoker's body splits down the middle during descent as the halves each hit the target with elementally energized hooks. First used in Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker.
- HeatTrigger (ヒートトリガーHīto Torigā): A Half Change accessed through the Heat and Trigger Memories, using the Trigger Magnum to shoot blasts of fire. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is the Trigger Explosion (トリガーエクスプロージョンTorigā Ekusupurōjon), which fires a single constant stream of fire that completely vaporizes the enemy. HeatTrigger is the only form of Kamen Rider Double's that has attempted to perform a Twin Maximum, in which the Trigger Magnum blasts out a massive fireball that incinerates anything in its path.
- LunaTrigger (ルナトリガーRuna Torigā): A form accessed through the Luna and Trigger Memories, effective in long range using the Trigger Magnum to fire curving gold and blue energy bolts that home on their intended target. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is the Trigger Full Burst (トリガーフルバーストTorigā Furu Bāsuto), which fires multiple charged homing shots at the enemy.
- LunaJoker (ルナジョーカーRuna Jōkā): A Half Change accessed through the Luna and Joker Memories, enabling Double to stretch his right limbs to extend his strike range. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is a Rider Chop called the Joker Strange (ジョーカーストレンジJōkā Sutorenji), during which LunaJoker splits down the middle, the Luna half makes four copies of itself, and all five Luna halves execute rapid-fire karate chops on the target, and then the Joker half strikes the target with an energy powered chop.
- LunaMetal (ルナメタルRuna Metaru): A Half Change accessed through the Luna and Metal Memories, enabling the Metal Shaft's range to be extended to the point of the weapon being used like whip. This form's Maximum Drive finisher is the Metal Illusion (メタルイリュージョンMetaru Iryūjon) where Kamen Rider Double spins the Metal Shaft around to create golden rings that float around Kamen Rider Double, before unleashing them upon the target all at once.
Double also uses Memory Gadgets (メモリガジェットMemori Gajetto) are items powered by artificial Gaia Memories called Giji Memories (ギジメモリGiji Memori, 'Pseudo Memories') that change from Gadget Mode (ガジェットモードGajetto Mōdo) to Live Mode (ライブモードRaibu Mōdo) to give Double's weapon's a boost with the use of a Soul Memory activating a Maximum Drive.
- The Stag Phone (スタッグフォンSutaggu Fon) are two cellular phones Shotaro and Philip own which switch between Cell Phone Mode (携帯モードKeitai Mōdo) and Stag Mode (スタッグモードSutaggu Mōdo) with the use of the Stag Memory (スタッグメモリSutaggu Memori). Double uses a Stag Phone to normally summon and control the HardBoilder and the RevolGarry, but attaches it to Trigger Magnum to execute a Trigger Stag Burst (トリガースタッグバーストTorigā Sutaggu Bāsuto) Maximum Drive or with the Metal Shaft to perform the Metal Stag Break (メタルスタッグブレイクMetaru Sutaggu Bureiku) Maximum Drive.
- The Spider Shock (スパイダーショックSupaidā Shokku) is a G-Shock wrist watch that switches between Wrist Watch Mode (腕時計モードUdedokei Mōdo) and Spider Mode (スパイダーモードSupaidā Mōdo) with the use of the Spider Memory (スパイダーメモリSupaidā Memori). It has a grappling hook in Wrist Watch Mode. It can also shoot out trackers which can be tracked in Wrist Watch Mode. When attached to the Trigger Magnum, it allows Kamen Rider Double to fire out a net that can capture Dopants. When attached to the Metal Shaft, it allows Kamen Rider Double to shoot out a webbed string that restrains a Dopant
- The Bat Shot (バットショットBatto Shotto) is a digital camera that switches between Digicam Mode (デジカメモードDejikame Mōdo) and Bat Mode (バットモードBatto Mōdo) with the use of the Bat Memory (バットメモリBatto Memori). A live video feed can be linked to the Stag Phone while in Bat Mode. Its flash can disorient others, and when attached to the Metal Shaft (a combination that Shotaro dubs the Sonic Shaft (ソニックシャフトSonikku Shafuto)), it can emit sonic waves strong enough to shatter solid objects. The Bat Shot also has a Maximum Drive for the Luna Memory, allowing its flashes to reveal and stun any hidden targets in its vicinity. When attached to the Trigger Magnum, it allows Kamen Rider Double to perform the Trigger Bat Shooting (トリガーバットシューティングTorigā Batto Shūtingu) Maximum Drive, locking onto the target through the Bat Shot and then firing a concentrated blast from the Trigger Magnum.
- The Frog Pod (フロッグポッドFuroggu Poddo) is a speaker that switches between Speaker Mode (スピーカーモードSupīkā Mōdo) and Frog Mode (フロッグモードFuroggu Mōdo) with the use of the Frog Memory (フロッグメモリFuroggu Memori), which is similar to a MP3 Player that acts as a sound recorder. When the recording is played back, the Frog Pod can modulate the sound to be anyone's voice. Its primary uses are for audio recording and analysis. The Frog Memory and manual for building the Frog Pod are sent to Philip by what he assumed to be Shroud.
- The Denden Sensor (デンデンセンサーDenden Sensā) is a pair of night vision goggles that switches between Goggle Mode (ゴーグルモードGōguru Mōdo, also translated as 'Night Scope Mode') and Denden Mode (デンデンモードDenden Mōdo) with the use of the Denden Memory (デンデンメモリDenden Memori). Its primary ability is to detect changes in the light spectra and alert its user to targets invisible to the naked eye. It is also used as a surveillance device, being able to store 8 terabytes of information in its Giji Memory. The Denden Sensor is the second Memory Gadget Philip is seen constructing from a set of instructions sent to him by Shroud.
The Xtreme Memory (エクストリームメモリEkustorīmu Memori) is a special bird-like Gaia Memory that changes from Live Mode (ライブモードRaibu Mōdo) to Memory Mode (メモリモードMemori Mōdo) for Double to assume his ultimate form: CycloneJokerXtreme (サイクロンジョーカーエクストリームSaikuron Jōkā Ekusutorīmu). Being an evolved form of Double's CycloneJoker form, the Xtreme Memory contains a digitized Philip which causes him and Shotaro to fully integrate into a single being for the duration of the form with full access to the True Gaia Memory via the iridescent band going down the middle of the Kamen Rider's body called the Crystal Server (クリスタルサーバーKurisutaru Sābā). Double CycloneJokerXtreme uses the Prism Bicker (プリズムビッカーPurizumu Bikkā) that splits into the Prism Sword (プリズムソードPurizumu Sōdo), which neutralizes more Dopants' regenerative abilities, and Bicker Shield (ビッカーシールドBikkā Shīrudo) which uses the Prism (プリズムPurizumu) Memory to links the power of four Maximum Drives into one. Double's Maximum Drives in this form are the Double Xtreme (ダブルエクストリームDaburu Ekusutorīmu) Rider Kick, Double Prism Xtreme (ダブルプリズムエクストリームDaburu Purizumu Ekusutorīmu) kick, Prism Break (プリズムブレイクPurizumu Bureiku),Bicker Charge Break (ビッカーチャージブレイクBikkā Chāji Bureiku) sword and shield charged slash, and the Bicker Finallusion (ビッカーファイナリュージョンBikkā Fainaryūjon) laser blast. Double can evolve the form further by assuming CycloneJokerGoldXtreme (サイクロンジョーカーゴールドエクストリームSaikuron Jōkā Gōrudo Ekusutorīmu) form being exposed to strong winds, like in Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate, with use of the Golden Xtreme (ゴールデンエクストリームGōruden Ekusutorīmu) Rider Kick Maximum Drive.
Shotaro Hidari[edit]
Shotaro Hidari (左 翔太郎Hidari Shōtarō) is the man on the streets, a self-proclaimed 'hardboileddetective' who emulates famous pulp fiction private eyes characters while dressing himself in 1940s fashion with a sharp enough intuition to sometime figure out the culprit behind a crime before having Philip confirm his suspicions with evidence. Vowing to ensure that no one ever feels sad, Shotaro became a protégé of Futo's private investigator Sokichi Narumi after admiring his work as a child. Unlike his mentor, Shotaro was incapable of making the tough decisions most of the time due to his kindhearted nature, which is the main reason why many consider him 'halfboiled'.
Following Sokichi's death in the Begins Night (ビギンズナイトBiginzu Naito) incident, their investigation leading to Shotaro meeting Philip, Shotaro promises to continue in his mentor's stead while becoming a man worthy of wearing Sokichi's white fedora. Thus Shotaro works to stop the Dopant crime wave in Futo by providing his body as Kamen Rider Double, taking pride in the role and being called a 'Kamen Rider' by the citizens. While his body was not meant to handle Gaia Memories as he was never intended to be partnered with Philip, Shotaro adapted to the situation as he eventually become both worthy of being Double and wearing Sokichi's white fedora.
As Double, Shotaro possesses Gaia Memories called Body Memories (ボディメモリBodi Memori) which form the left side of Double's body while determining the fighting style in conjunction with Philip's Soul Memories. They are also used in Double's Maximum Drive attacks.
- Joker (ジョーカーJōkā): The Joker Memory, also known as the Ace Memory (切り札の記憶Kirifuda no Kioku), allows the user to increase fighting potential and enhances the users reflexes significantly, becoming the Skill Warrior (技戦士Waza Senshi). When used, half of Kamen Rider Double becomes the black Ace Left Half (切り札の左半身Kirifuda no Hidari Hanshin). During the events of W Forever, Shotaro receives Sokichi Narumi's Lost Driver, allowing him to become Kamen Rider Joker (仮面ライダージョーカーKamen Raidā Jōkā) on three occasions. This belt is retrieved by Philip and given to Shotaro before his disappearance, allowing him to become Kamen Rider Joker again.
- Metal (メタルMetaru): The Metal Memory, also known as the Steel Memory (鋼鉄の記憶Kōtetsu no Kioku) or the Fighter Memory (闘士の記憶Tōshi no Kioku), empowers the user with great strength and magnified resistance to physical harm, becoming the Superpowered Warrior (怪力戦士Kairiki Senshi). When used, half of Kamen Rider Double becomes the silver Fighter Left Half (闘士の左半身Tōshi no Hidari Hanshin). Forms using the Metal Memory are armed with the extendable Metal Shaft (メタルシャフトMetaru Shafuto)bō.
- Trigger (トリガーTorigā): The Trigger Memory, also known as the Sniper Memory (銃撃手の記憶Jūgekishu no Kioku), turns the user into an expert marksman, becoming the Gun Warrior (銃戦士Jū Senshi). When used, half of Kamen Rider Double becomes the blue Sniper Left Half (狙撃手の左半身Sogekishu no Hidari Hanshin) while arming the form with the Trigger Magnum (トリガーマグナムTorigā Magunamu). When the Trigger Memory is placed in the Maximum Slot on the Trigger Magnum, the weapon changes from Normal Mode to Maximum Mode to fire an elemental-powered Maximum Drive attack.
Shotaro Hidari is portrayed by Renn Kiriyama (桐山 漣Kiriyama Ren). As a child, Shotaro is portrayed by Issei Kakazu (嘉数 一星Kakazu Issei), who also portrays Akira Aoyama (青山 晶Aoyama Akira) in the television series' final episode.
Kamen Rider W Lost Driver Flash
Philip[edit]
The mysterious Philip (フィリップFirippu) is Shotaro's partner in the detective agency who lost his memory and uses his special abilities to access the Gaia Library to solve Dopant crimes. He was originally Raito Sonozaki (園咲 来人Sonozaki Raito), the third child and only son of the Sonozaki family who died was revived as an avatar of the planet's consciousness Gaia Memory (地球の記憶Chikyū no Kioku). Thus Raito was considered the 'Chosen Child' (運命の子Unmei no Ko) by his father Ryubee who had Satoshi Yamashiro wipe out the now ageless youth's memories of his former identity to be used by the Museum in the mass production of artificial Gaia Memories. After being rescued by Shotaro and Sokichi Narumi, the latter naming him after the fictional detective Philip Marlowe, Philip aids Shotaro to atone for being used as a puppet willingly by his captors. Normally remaining in the Detective Agency's secret hangar, reading at his spare time with a habit of becoming obsessed with a topic of interest, Philip investigates Dopant activities through his ability to access the Gaia Library (地球(ほし)の本棚Hoshi no Hondana) and its Infinite Archive (無限アーカイブMugen Ākaibu), a metaphysical realm and Akashic records in the form of white room filled with an endless number of books on an endless number of bookshelves.
While initially an logic-minded sociopath with little common sense who constantly irks all around him, Philip gradually becomes more empathic while eventually learning his former identity as a member of the Sonozaki Family. He was eventually captured and was absorbed by Wakana to restore the Museum's hold on the True Gaia Memory, later extracted by Shotaro. But the event renders Philip's body unstable to the point that should he transform into Kamen Rider Double again, he would break up into data and be completely absorbed by the planet once he cancels transformation. Saving their final transformation to save Wakana and fight Jun Kazu, Philip has Shotaro promise him that he will still fight for Futo even after he is gone. After Kazu is defeated, Philip bids his final farewell to Shotaro as he fades away once the transformation is cancelled. Before he left, Philip left Shotaro a gift containing a Lost Driver buckle and the blank book he used to bring around with him, containing a message thanking Shotaro and asking him to continue to protect Futo. However, after Wakana learns that Philip sacrificed his own physical existence to save her, she initiates her own Gaia Impact: sacrificing herself to bring back the Xtreme Memory and reconstruct Philip's physical body. Before returning, Philip has one last moment with his family who tell him that they will be watching over him. Once revealing himself a year after his physical form is completely restored, Philip resumes protecting Futo with Shotaro.
As Double, Philip possesses Gaia Memories called Soul Memories (ソウルメモリSouru Memori) which transfer his consciousness into Shotaro's body, providing both the right half of Double's body and his elemental power.
- Cyclone (サイクロンSaikuron): The Cyclone Memory, also known as the Windy Memory (風の記憶Kaze no Kioku), allows the user to move at fast speeds, controlling the very power of wind, becoming the Windy Warrior (風の戦士Kaze no Senshi). When used, half of Kamen Rider Double becomes the green Cyclonic Right Half (旋風の右半身Senpū no Migi Hanshin). Forms using the Cyclone Memory possess a silver scarf known as the Windy Stabilizer (ウィンディスタビライザーWindi Sutabiraizā) hanging from the neck. During the events of the novel Kamen Rider W: The One Who Continues After Z, Philip uses the Lost Driver and the Cyclone Memory to transform into the wind-powered Kamen Rider Cyclone (仮面ライダーサイクロンKamen Raidā Saikuron).[1]
- Heat (ヒートHīto): The Heat Memory, also known as the Hot Memory (熱き記憶Atsuki Kioku), empowers the user with the element of fire, becoming the Blazing Warrior (炎の戦士Honō no Senshi). When used, half of Kamen Rider Double becomes the red Heated Right Half (熱き右半身Atsuki Migi Hanshin).
- Luna (ルナRuna): The Luna Memory, also known as the Illusion Memory (幻想の記憶Gensō no Kioku), allows the user to cast illusions, stretching limbs and bending gunshots, becoming the Mysterious Warrior (神秘の戦士Shinpi no Senshi). When used, half of Kamen Rider Double becomes the gold Fantastical Right Half (幻想の右半身Gensō no Migi Hanshin).
The Fang Memory (ファングメモリFangu Memori), also known as the Fanged Memory (牙の記憶Kiba no Kioku), is a special Gaia Memory built to protect Philip and act on his orders, able to change between its Dromaeosaurid-like Live Mode (ライブモードRaibu Mōdo) to Memory Mode (メモリモードMemori Mōdo). Philip uses the Fang Memory to transform into Kamen Rider Double's FangJoker (ファングジョーカーFangu Jōkā), becoming the body while Shotaro's consciousness is transferred into him. While this allows Philip to go out into the open and utilize Double's power in case Shotaro is physically unable to, the form tends to be a last resort as the transformation is extremely taxing on Philip's frail body while rendering him a berserker. Able to produce the bladed weapons on his body like the Arm Saber (アームセイバーĀmu Seibā) and the removable Shoulder Saber (ショルダーセイバーShorudā Seibā), and the Maximum Saber (マキシマムセイバーMakishimamu Seibā) used in FangJoker's Fang Strizer (ファングストライザーFangu Sutoraizā) Maximum Drive.
Philip is portrayed by Masaki Suda (菅田 将暉Suda Masaki). As a child, Philip is portrayed by Tomoya Hashimoto (橋本 智哉Hashimoto Tomoya).
Akiko Narumi[edit]
Akiko Narumi (鳴海 亜樹子Narumi Akiko) is Shotaro's boss and head of the Narumi Detective Agency. Because of her young appearance and attitude, Shotaro refers to her as 'Middleschool Girl' (女子中学生Joshi Chūgakusei) and sees her as a threat to his public image. She has come to Futo from Osaka to find her father and reclaim the agency's building, initially unaware that her father had died and was a Kamen Rider until the events of the Begins Night film. She serves as a personal assistant as well as the boss of the place while on the job as well as keeping Shotaro on the right track by slapping him with a green sandal; she has also used this tactic on other characters, including Dopants. She has a black and white view of the world and tends to say 'I won't hear of it!' (私聞いてない!Watashi kiitenai!) when she is caught off guard by something. Despite her somewhat childish personality, she has shown signs of promise as a detective, particularly in her ability to decipher clues that leave Shotaro, Philip, and Ryu stumped, as well as being extremely protective of clients, a trait she shares with her father. Akiko harbors a crush on Ryu Terui, but her advances are ignored as he maintains a professional demeanor towards her, until he finally gives in to his feelings for her. However, she is ultimately torn due to unresolved issues with her father until the events of Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W Featuring Skull: Movie War Core when she learns the full story of her father before her wedding to Ryu. During the events of Kamen Rider Accel, due to his inability to call her by name, Akiko believes that Ryu doesn't love her, further worsen after seeing Ryu on the run with Aoi Katsuragi, believing that he cheated on her. But when held captive by the Commander Dopant and saved by her husband, Akiko learns that Ryu truly loves her, though he insists to not call her by her name. In Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Chaser, it is revealed that Akiko and Ryu now have a daughter named Haruna Terui (照井 春奈Terui Haruna).
Akiko Narumi is portrayed by Hikaru Yamamoto (山本 ひかるYamamoto Hikaru). As a child, Akiko is portrayed by Saho Ueda (上田 紗帆Ueda Saho) in Kamen Rider Skull: Message for Double.
Sokichi Narumi[edit]
Sokichi Narumi (鳴海 荘吉Narumi Sōkichi) is Shotaro's mentor and founder of the Narumi Detective Agency, referred by Shotaro as 'Boss' (おやっさんOyassan). His policy with investigations is to ensure the client's safety above all else, and unlike Shotaro, he is truly hardboiled in the sense that he will make difficult decisions when he needs to, and follows through with it. However, during the events depicted in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W Featuring Skull: Movie War Core, Sokichi became involved in the Dopant cases and gaining the means to become Kamen Rider Skull (仮面ライダースカルKamen Raidā Sukaru) from Shroud, who is an old friend of his. Sokichi later accepts a job from Shroud to get Philip away from the Sonozaki Family, transforming into Skull to fend off the Taboo Dopant and an army of Masquerade Dopants during the raid on their factory. But in the end, after talking Philip into coming with him to decide his own fate and find his own atonement, Sokichi is shot in the back and dies telling Shotaro to continue in his place and giving him his white fedora, his dying words being for Shotaro to 'grow into a man worthy of wearing it'.
Sokichi Narumi is portrayed by Koji Kikkawa (吉川 晃司Kikkawa Kōji).[2] Kikkawa also performs the song 'Nobody's Perfect' under the name of his character.
Seiichiro Matsui[edit]
Seiichiro Matsui (松井 誠一郎Matsui Seiichirō), or simply known as 'Matsu' (マツ), was Sokichi Narumi's former partner from the year 1999. He often helped in Sokichi's cases by researching in libraries, as he is described to be a '1999 version of Philip' by Akiko. But he had a bit of envy towards Sokichi for always getting the girl. Meeting with Melissa where she hires him to save her from Yaguchi, a chain of events occur that result in Matsu becoming one of the first Gaia Memory users initially to protect Melissa. However, the Spider Memory warps Matsu's mind to the point of him wanting Melissa for himself, as he always had feelings for her. As the Spider Dopant (スパイダー・ドーパントSupaidā Dōpanto), he can use threads known as the Spider Net (スパイダーネットSupaidā Netto) for attacks and other uses, as well as implanting little Spider Bombs (スパイダーボムSupaidā Bomu) into humans that would spin silk around a person's loved ones and explode upon touch. Matsu dies after his Gaia Memory is destroyed in a fight with Sokichi as Kamen Rider Skull, who still calls him his 'partner'. He appears in the film Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & Double featuring Skull: Movie War Core, when the Pteranodon Yummy uses the Memory Memory to reveal the events of Sokichi Narumi's past.
His organization style in his research is the same style used in the continuation of an episode arc where it shows important individuals involved in the case (including themselves), how they relate to each other, and other possible clues to the case.
The Spider Dopant is an homage to the inhumanoid Spider Man (蜘蛛男Kumo Otoko) from the original Kamen Rider television series.[3]
Seiichiro Matsui is portrayed by Tarō Yamamoto (山本 太郎Yamamoto Tarō).[4]
Futo Police Department[edit]
The Futo Police Department (風都署Fūtosho, FPD) force attempts to fight the Dopant crime wave.
Mikio Jinno[edit]
Mikio Jinno (刃野 幹夫Jinno Mikio) is a senior detective of the Futo Police working on the Dopant case who is very gullible, falling for the same trick every time until the Jewel Dopant case when he is arrested and vows to himself to be less gullible after being cleared of all charges. Despite his personality, he is a dedicated officer and sometimes wise. He also happens to be a friend of Shotaro's with whom he discusses cases, while unaware of his Shotaro's connection to Kamen Rider Double. It is implied that he has known Shotaro when he was younger as Shotaro recalls being chased by him when Jinno was an officer. He is almost never seen without his back scratcher. In Kamen Rider Accel, after taking down the Kamen Soldiers by himself, Jinno is shot with Ryu's firearm by the Commander Dopant. However, the wound is not fatal and he makes a complete recovery.
Mikio Jinno is portrayed by Takeshi Nadagi (なだぎ 武Nadagi Takeshi).
Shun Makura[edit]
Shun Makura (真倉 俊Makura Shun) is Jinno's rookie partner, an unpleasant guy who is doubtful of Shotaro's skills and sees his involvement with police investigations unnecessary. He and Shotaro often get into fights when they are together, at times requiring Jinno to break them up. He is extremely impulsive, often jumping to conclusions when it comes to solving crimes and accusing people of committing crimes with little or no proof except from the word of a superior officer. He is nicknamed 'Macky' (マッキーMakkī) by Shotaro and the others.
Shun Makura is portrayed by Shingo Nakagawa (中川 真吾Nakagawa Shingo).
Ryu Terui[edit]
Ryu Terui (照井 竜Terui Ryū) is a young man who is a Superintendent appointed to the Futo Police Department's Paranormal Crime Investigation Division (超常犯罪捜査課Chōjō Hanzai Sōsaka), much to the chagrin of Shotaro, Jinno, and Makura. Though he becomes an ally to Shotaro in fighting Dopant crimes as Kamen Rider Accel (仮面ライダーアクセルKamen Raidā Akuseru), Ryu originally becomes a Kamen Rider to find his family's murderer, Dr. Shinkuro Isaka. However, it is only after Isaka's death that Ryu learns that there is more to the story behind the death of his family.
Ryu Terui is portrayed by Minehiro Kinomoto (木ノ本 嶺浩Kinomoto Minehiro).
Futo Irregulars[edit]
The Futo Irregulars (風都イレギュラーズFūto Iregyurāzu) are denizens of Futo that Shotaro goes to for information and assistance. They are named after the Baker Street Irregulars of the Sherlock Holmes stories. Most of the Futo Irregulars' true names are a mystery.
Watcherman[edit]
Watcherman (ウォッチャマンWotchaman) is the username of an otakublogger who is Shotaro's informant on Dopant activities. He also owns a bicycle called Futo-kun Bicycle (ふうとくんバイシクルFūtokun Baishikuru) that he won in a mail-in contest.[5] During the events of W Forever, Watcherman obtains the T2 Violence Memory and it forces him to become the T2 Violence Dopant (T2バイオレンス・ドーパントTī Tsū Baiorensu Dōpanto), whose left arm and Violence Ball form are pure destruction. After being restored by Double LunaJoker's Joker Strange Maximum Drive, Watcherman is taken to a free clinic where he stays during NEVER's attack.
Watcherman is portrayed by Nasubi (なすび).
Santa-chan[edit]
Santa-chan (サンタちゃん) is a mysterious man who is seen throughout Futo, the owner of a pet shop who promotes local companies by giving out freebies in a Santa Claus outfit. He gives out presents which always seem to help out the recipient. During the events of W Forever, Santa-chan obtains the T2 IceAge Memory and it forces him to become the T2 IceAge Dopant (T2アイスエイジ・ドーパントTī Tsū Aisueiji Dōpanto), with the ability to make absolute zero ice. After being restored by Double LunaJoker's Joker Strange Maximum Drive, Santa-chan is taken to a free clinic where he stays during NEVER's attack. One year after the final battle with the Utopia Dopant, Santa-chan is seen as the owner of a pet shop that Shotaro visits, breaking up a fight between Shotaro and an unnamed employee who is later revealed to be the Energy Dopant. Though he is seen in a Santa Claus outfit almost all the time, he ironically dons a reindeer outfit on Christmas Day instead.
Santa-chan is portrayed by Zennosuke Fukkin (腹筋 善之介Fukkin Zennosuke).
Queen & Elizabeth[edit]
Queen (クイーンKuīn) and Elizabeth (エリザベスErizabesu) are two teenage girls who serve as Shotaro's informants in high school settings. The two are also singers, who get a major label release for their song 'Love♡Wars'. In Begins Night, it is revealed that Elizabeth has feelings for Philip. During the events of Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate, Queen is seen with the T2 Queen Memory (T2クイーンメモリTī Tsū Kuīn Memori), which can be used to form a barrier around the user. The Gaia Memory attempts to take control of Queen and forms a Living Connector on her arm, but she is able to resist and throw the Memory away. Elizabeth also finds the T2 Accel, Key, and Bird Memories (referencing the real band the two actresses are a part of), giving them to Shotaro without being affected by them.
Queen and Elizabeth are portrayed by Tomomi Itano (板野 友美Itano Tomomi) and Tomomi Kasai (河西 智美Kasai Tomomi) of AKB48, respectively.[6]
Isamu Bito[edit]
Isamu Bito (尾藤 勇Bitō Isamu), also known as 'Sam' (サムSamu) is a stallholder and an old client of Sokichi Narumi. He has a habit of flicking people painfully in the face with his hand when they say something that annoy him, which he often performed on Shotaro. Ten years ago, Bito took the heat for an armored car robbery involving the Beastman, actually his employee Maruo Arima and Suzuko Arima, a woman he had feelings for. However, after the case is solved, Bito continues with his job.
Bito appears in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W Featuring Skull: Movie War Core, where he owns a stall selling pinwheels in the year 1999. Bito introduces Sokichi to Stone to help him solve the 'Spider Man' case.
Isamu Bito is portrayed by Kazuyoshi Ozawa (小沢 和義Ozawa Kazuyoshi).
Stone[edit]
Stone (ストーンSutōn) is an architectureotaku who is introduced to Sokichi Narumi by Isamu Bito to help them solve the 'Spider Man' case with his lock picking talents. Helping Sokichi sneak into the Yaguchi Talent Agency, Stone is captured and murdered by the Bat Dopant. He appears in the film Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & Double featuring Skull: Movie War Core when the Pteranodon Yummy uses the Memory Memory to reveal the events of Sokichi Narumi's past.
Stone is portrayed by Shiro Tsubuyaki (つぶやき シローTsubuyaki Shirō).[7][8]
Dopants[edit]
The Dopants (ドーパントDōpanto) are humans who received Gaia Memories from the Museum. Originally, the Gaia Memories were created by using Philip's link to the true Gaia Memory (地球の記憶Chikyū no Kioku) by means of the Gaia Library (地球(ほし)の本棚Hoshi no Hondana). But after Philip was taken, Ryubee resorts to using a shrine located under the Sonozaki manor to create Gaia Memories. From there, the Museum would sell them to the highest bidder or to common criminals, both types used as guinea pigs to study the Gaia Memories as part of the Gaia Impact project. Despite the Museum organization being disbanded with Ryubee's death, some Gaia Memories are still unaccounted for.
Sonozaki Family[edit]
The Sonozaki Family (園咲家Sonozaki Ke) is an aristocratic family in Futo who founded the organization known as the Museum (ミュージアムMyūjiamu). When his son Raito died and was reborn as an avatar of the true Gaia Memory, Ryubee used his organization to produce and distribute the Gaia Memories created throughout the criminal underworld for experimentation, resulting in the Dopant crime waves. The ultimate goal of Museum is to use the data gathered for both the Dopants and the Kamen Riders to invoke an effect known as the Gaia Impact (ガイアインパクトGaia Inpakuto), which Ryubee plans based on his fears of humanity's extinction to make mankind one with the Earth itself.
With the exception of Raito and Fumine, each member of the Sonozaki Family owns a special Gaia Memory, called Gold Memories (ゴールドメモリGōrudo Memori), allowing them to assume Dopant forms with the use of a prototype Gaia Driver (ガイアドライバーGaia Doraibā) belt which prevents the corruptive effects of usual Dopant Gaia Memories at the cost of reduced power. In the end, when Ryubee's plan almost succeeds, it results with the family estate burning to the ground, marking the end of both its patriarch and the Museum. At the end of the series, when Wakana sacrifices her body to give Philip (Raito) his body back, the family becomes a part of the Earth to watch over Philip and tasks him with the family duty to protect Futo and to change the world for the benefit of mankind.
Ryubee Sonozaki[edit]
Ryubee Sonozaki (園咲 琉兵衛Sonozaki Ryūbee) is the seemingly wise yet maniacal head of the Sonozaki Family and leader of the Museum, who is almost always seen smiling or laughing. He sports a commanding presence and can adequately terrify many even without the use of his Terror Memory, which is the main reason why the police leaves him alone even though they have suspicions regarding his activities. He acts as a godfather in the organization and sees the entirety of the city of Futo as his personal kingdom, not letting anyone get in the way of his vision for the city, not even his wife and children. With the Terror Memory, Ryubee can transform into the Terror Dopant (テラー・ドーパントTerā Dōpanto), who can increase the fear in his victims to maddening levels. He could also summon the Terror Field (テラーフィールドTerā Fīrudo) to burn his victims or teleport himself and others across long distances and project his power into the Terror Crown (テラークラウンTerā Kuraun) to create a Barong-like familiar known as the Terror Dragon (テラードラゴンTerā Doragon). As the head of the Museum, Ryubee oversees the distribution of Gaia Memories, using those who can use them as research specimens, regardless of the harm and deaths that ensued. He does not seem to consider the Kamen Riders fighting the Dopant crimewave a threat, using the data off of them as a means to perfect his plans for Wakana before turning his attention to regain Philip and complete his plan to initiate the Gaia Impact.
It is revealed that Ryubee was an archaeologist who bought the grounds his estate was built on after finding deposits of fossils and relics beneath it, forming the collection at the Futo Museum where he works as its curator. He eventually discovered the location of the planet's consciousness, dubbed the Gaia Memory (地球の記憶Chikyū no Kioku), and brought his family to see it. However, when his son Raito fell into the 'fountain' of the Gaia Memory and died, but was somehow resurrected by the planet's powers, Ryubee began his plan for the Gaia Impact: an event that would ensure the future of the human race by making them one with the planet itself, much like his son had become. To reach his goal, he used an item dubbed the 'Evil Tail' (イーヴィルテイルĪviru Teiru), an archaeologist's brush with the names of his family inscribed on it, to overcome the fear that would go along with sacrificing them to reach his goal, eventually making him go mad. When he sacrifices Raito (Philip) once more into the Gaia Memory to make his daughter Wakana one with the Earth, he is confronted by both Kamen Riders. While Kamen Rider Accel as the AccelTurbuler destroys his Terror Dragon, Shotaro is able to retrieve Philip's mind and then his body from the aspects of the Gaia Memory in ClayDoll Xtreme to transform into Kamen Rider Double CycloneJokerXtreme to defeat the Terror Dopant and destroy the Terror Memory, along with most of the Sonozaki estate. With Ryubee's mind still broken from years of planning, he enters the still burning ruins of his home, glad that he finally initiated the Gaia Impact. He dies in the blaze, thinking of the good times he had with his family before he discovered the Gaia Memory and claiming that he has no regrets about his life as he dances madly by himself.
During the events of OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders, Terror Dopant appears to be a member and leader of Shocker in normal timeline.
Ryubee Sonozaki is portrayed by Minori Terada (寺田 農Terada Minori). In the music video for 'Nobody's Perfect', the Terror Dopant make a cameo as he fights Kamen Rider Skull.[9][10]
Saeko Sonozaki[edit]
Saeko Sonozaki (園咲 冴子Sonozaki Saeko) the eldest of the Sonozaki children who runs an IT company called the Digal Corporation (ディガル・コーポレーションDigaru Kōporēshon), which serves as a front for Gaia Memory production and distribution. As the Taboo Dopant (タブー・ドーパントTabū Dōpanto), she gains the ability to fly and generate deadly plasma balls. Ryubee strictly raised Saeko to believe that their family is superior to all others and that they are destined to rule the world. This loveless upbringing caused her to grow up secretly hating her father, often taking the resulting rage out on her younger sister Wakana, serving as fuel for her own ulterior motives of taking over the Museum to prove herself to her father to be its ideal successor. She also has a tendency to kill her boyfriends if they do not live up to her expectations. When Saeko spares Kirihiko due to his capabilities, she marries him and lets him live until he threatens the Museum's livelihood. He has no problems executing Kirihiko as she had never loved him. After Kirihiko's death, Saeko begins to visit Shinkuro Isaka to improve her Dopant form and focus on her plans for the Museum. After he is almost defeated by the Kamen Riders, she begins to show that she cares for Isaka's well-being, which is likely to be genuine attraction to the doctor. Once her coup against her father fails and Isaka is killed off, Saeko goes on the lam and is hunted down by the Smilodon Dopant, who takes the Taboo Memory and leaves her for dead. However, Saeko is saved by Kazu who offers his support in her scheme to take control of the Museum. After infiltrating the Digal Corporation, now with Wakana as its head, to obtain the Nasca Memory and then using an L.C.O.G on herself instead of using the Memory with a Driver. Without inhibitions posed by a Driver, Saeko is able to use the Gaia Memory in its Level 3 state to become the R Nasca Dopant (Rナスカ・ドーパントĀru Nasuka Dōpanto, 'R' for both 'Red' and 'Revenge') to overpower her sister. However, when Wakana evolves to ClayDoll Xtreme, which Saeko proves to be utterly powerless against, she is forced to go after other options to make herself more powerful, such as the Jewel Memory, before the Nasca Memory is destroyed in a confrontation with ClayDoll Xtreme. Later, after her father's death, Saeko is disillusioned until she learns of Wakana's survival and regains the Taboo Memory from Kazu after he announces that she has become the head of the Museum. However, no longer having a reason to prove herself with her father dead, Saeko fights Kazu in order to save her sister. As a result, the Taboo Dopant sacrifices herself to hold off the Utopia Dopant to give Wakana time to run away, resulting in Saeko's death as she finally admits the irony of her last moments in her final breath.
Saeko Sonozaki is portrayed by Ami Namai (生井 亜実Namai Ami).[11][12]
Wakana Sonozaki[edit]
Wakana Sonozaki (園咲 若菜Sonozaki Wakana) is the youngest daughter and middle child of the Sonozaki family who since her brother's death has been secretly raised to become the key element in her father's plans. Working as a DJ at the local Wind Wave (ウインドウェーブUindo Wēbu) radio station, she hosted the Wakana's Healing Princess (園咲若菜のヒーリングプリンセスSonozaki Wakana no Hīringu Purinsesu) show and gained a loyal fanbase as a result. While she puts up a shy and kind persona on the show or whenever a crowd is around, her true personality is the complete opposite. As a member of the Museum, Wakana is able to transform into the ClayDoll Dopant (クレイドール・ドーパントKureidōru Dōpanto), enabling her to produce gravitational energy shots, as well as the ability to reform her Dopant body after it is shattered into thousands of pieces. Out of all of the members of the Sonozaki Family, she is the least involved with the Gaia Memory business, as she was doted upon while growing up. After encountering Philip, Wakana begins to have second thoughts about being a Dopant and discards the ClayDoll Memory. It is returned to her by her father, who is aware that she did not lose it as she claims; he later decides to bring her into the family business after Kirihiko's death and is the one chosen to view the effects of the Xtreme Memory on the true Gaia Memory. Before this, Wakana also becomes one of Shinkuro Isaka's unwilling experiments after he modifies her Gaia Driver, subjecting her to more of her Gaia Memory's influence and its short term side effects showing her compatibility with its powers.
After trying to run away with Philip, her father takes her to the Museum's true base of operations. Made to believe by unknown means that she is serving a greater good for the planet's sake, Wakana runs the Museum and the Digal Corporation, bent on bringing Philip back to the Museum to complete the Gaia Impact. Her personality now resembles Saeko, but more ruthless and unforgiving. She is also given the Prototype Organic Information Controlling Organ Body Gaia Progressor (有機情報制御器官試作体・ガイアプログレッサーYūki Jōhō Seigyo Kikan Shisakutai Gaia Puroguressā), a device based on the Xtreme Memory that is designed to evolve her into the godlike ClayDoll Xtreme (クレイドールエクストリームKureidōru Ekusutorīmu) to prepare her for the Gaia Impact so she become one with the planet's vast knowledge. While armed with tendrils and exponentially more power, Wakana becomes a being like Philip with access to the true Gaia Memory, much like CycloneJokerXtreme. When the Gaia Impact seems to succeed after Philip is thrown into the source of the true Gaia Memory, becoming a living Gaia Memory and fully integrated with the ClayDoll Memory, Wakana loses control when Philip is removed from her body, causing an explosion that destroys the Sonozaki estate. However, in midsts of the blaze, Wakana's unconscious body is carried off by Kazu to the Foundation X research facility to be of use in his own version of the Gaia Impact. However, Shotaro manages to save her before taking her to the hospital. A few days later, Wakana attempts to force her way out of the hospital to resume her family's goal before finally learning that Philip disappeared into the Gaia Memory to save her. After getting the means to invoke the Gaia Impact from Shroud in her final moments, Wakana sacrifices her own existence to bring her brother back via the Xtreme Memory.
Wakana Sonozaki is portrayed by Rin Asuka (飛鳥 凛Asuka Rin). As a young child, Wakana is portrayed by Natsuki Kasa (笠 菜月Kasa Natsuki).[13][14]
Kirihiko Sudo/Sonozaki[edit]
Kirihiko Sudo (須藤 霧彦Sudō Kirihiko) is a young man who initially works for the Museum as one of its best Gaia Memory dealers. He also has a professed love of the city of Futo, and in his youth created the city's mascot Futo-kun (ふうとくんFūtokun). In his work with the Museum, Kirihiko eventually catches the eye of Saeko and they marry, taking on the Sonozaki surname in place of his own. In being welcomed into the family, he is granted a Gaia Driver along with the ability to become the Nasca Dopant (ナスカ・ドーパントNasuka Dōpanto), an expert swordsman armed with the Nasca Blade (ナスカブレードNasuka Burēdo) with the powers of flight from the Nasca Wings (ナスカウイングNasuka Uingu). As an in-law, Kirihiko is not as fully aware of the truth behind the family business or Kamen Rider Double's existence until confronting him in battle. He eventually discovers that Shotaro is Double, and begins to confront him as a rival to test his Gaia Memory's powers. When he finally discovers the truth behind the Gaia Memories, while suffering near-lethal side effects from eventually reaching Level Two of the Nasca Memory's powers, he tries to take Saeko away from the Museum, but she kills him as he is now a threat to her future plans. Saeko kept his Nasca Memory, eventually using it to transform into the R Nasca Dopant before it was destroyed by ClayDoll Xtreme. In episode 33, it was revealed that he had a sister, Yukie Sudo.
Kirihiko Sudo is portrayed by Yuki Kimisawa (君沢 ユウキKimisawa Yūki).[15]
Mick[edit]
Mick (ミックMikku) is Ryubee's beloved pet blue British Shorthair, named by his son Raito (Philip). Despite being a cat, the Smilodon Memory can transform Mick into the humanoid Smilodon Dopant (スミロドン・ドーパントSumirodon Dōpanto) that can discharge electricity and move at blinding speeds, fast enough to evade the homing shots of Kamen Rider Double LunaTrigger and outmaneuver Kamen Rider Accel Trial. He appears to be more intelligent than the average house cat, in that he appears to know that he is able to transform into the Smilodon Dopant and he knows how to transform back into a house cat at will. He is often utilized by the Sonozaki Family to deal with matters outside their estate, such as hunting down Philip and traitors, as well as bodyguard and spy. Mick also appears to favor Wakana over the other members of the family though will faithfully follow Ryubee's orders. While targeting Kyoko, the Smilodon Dopant defeats Accel Trial before Double CycloneMetal catches the cat off guard before destroying his Gaia Driver and Smilodon Memory with the Metal Stag Break Maximum Drive. After Ryubee's death, Mick is brought to live at the Narumi Detective Agency.
Mick is played by a cat named Buri-chan (ブリちゃん). The Smilodon Dopant's vocalizations are performed by Yasuhiro Takato (高戸 靖広Takato Yasuhiro).[16]
Masquerade Dopants[edit]
Masquerade Dopants (マスカレイド・ドーパントMasukareido Dōpanto) are Dopants used by the Sonozaki family as guards and other forms of agents, and later used by the Foundation X. Mass-produced Masquerade Memories are distributed to their Gaia Memory salesmen for the purpose of producing more thugs to do their dirty work. The Masquerade Dopants differ from other Dopants as they retain human form, wearing a masks that have a spine and rib cage design, resembling the bony design of the Dopant Gaia Memories. Masquerade Dopants are also significantly weaker than other Dopants, devoid of any special abilities and can be sufficiently fought against by normal humans. Unlike more advanced Dopants as well, they are completely destroyed when taken down with sufficient force, which can be done without using a Maximum Drive.
Roberto Shijima[edit]
Father Roberto Shijima (ロベルト志島Roberuto Shijima), a major antagonist in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie War 2010, is a Catholic priest and a figure within the cult known as the Order of Silence and Darkness (闇と静寂の会Yami to Seijaku no Kai). Shijima can become the Dummy Dopant (ダミー・ドーパントDamī Dōpanto) who can assume any form he wishes. Among these forms is the Death Dopant (デス・ドーパントDesu Dōpanto), using his powers to mimic the real Death Dopant's ability to bring people back from the grave. Using the Death Dopant's form, Father Shijima targets upper-class people by assuming the forms of their recently deceased relatives to frighten them and push them to an early grave. He uses this power on Asami Mutsuki by assuming the identity of her sister Erika, while assuming Sokichi Narumi's form to discourage Shotaro's interference. Once exposed, the Dummy Dopant evades Double as he finds himself in the middle of Decade's fight with Super Shocker, where he takes control of the Mammoth Mecha (マンモスメカManmosu Meka). However, the Dummy Dopant meets his end when he is assimilated by the Neo Organism as it becomes the inhuman Ultimate D. Shijima only appears in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie War 2010. In materials to promote the film, the Dummy Dopant was referred to as the 'mysterious Dopant' (なぞのドーパントnazo no Dōpanto).
Roberto Shijima is portrayed by Toru Tezuka (手塚 とおるTezuka Tōru).
Shinkuro Isaka[edit]
Shinkuro Isaka (井坂 深紅郎Isaka Shinkurō) is the head physician at the Isaka Medical Clinic (井坂内科医院Isaka Naika Iin). Ten years ago, finding no meaning in his life, he encountered Ryubee Sonozaki attacking a group of people as the Terror Dopant. This brings maddening joy to the doctor and he made a point to get the Terror Memory for himself, experimenting on himself with numerous Gaia Memories with various Living Connectors on his body before Shroud gave him the Weather Memory in the hope that he would be powerful enough to eliminate Ryubee. As the Weather Dopant (ウェザー・ドーパントWezā Dōpanto), he is armed with the whip-like Weather Mine (ウェザーマインWezā Main) and control over the weather: intense sunlight, heavy rain, lightning, tornadoes, and freezing snow. He originally tested these abilities in a series of murders which include Ryu Terui's family, to whom he is only known as the man with the W Memory (W(ダブリュー)のメモリを持つ男Daburyū no Memori o motsu otoko). Isaka does not use a Gaia Driver, as he feels he doesn't need the protection provided, as he is unaffected by their corruption due to him being already intensely psychotic, and the limits imposed on the power of Gaia Memories annoy him greatly. The Weather Dopant can also withstand Maximum Drives, as he has augmented the Weather Memory with other Gaia Memories' powers. This skill and his knowledge of Dopant physiology makes him an ally to the Museum. After his identity is discovered during his failed attempt to add the Invisible Memory to his arsenal, Isaka takes refuge in the Sonozaki estate where he convinces Saeko to take out her father so she can control the Museum and he can get the Terror Memory. Though he originally sees Saeko as merely one of his pawns and research material, he admits to having developed feelings for her. During his attempt to absorb the Quetzalcoatlus Memory, the Weather Dopant is finally defeated by Kamen Rider Accel Trial's Machine Gun Spike Maximum Drive, shattering the Weather Memory. Shortly afterwards, Isaka's excessive use of Gaia Memories causes his body to become covered in Living Connectors that dissolve him away into nothingness as he tells the Kamen Riders that Shroud will be their end. Shroud later expressed regret to Ryu for giving Isaka the Weather Memory, having no idea of what a monster he would become with the Memory.
Shinkuro Isaka is portrayed by Tomoyuki Dan (檀 臣幸Dan Tomoyuki).[17]
Eren Komori[edit]
Eren Komori (小森 絵蓮Komori Eren) is the Gaia Memory dealer of the Museum during 1999. By using the Bat Memory, she can become the Bat Dopant (バット・ドーパントBatto Dōpanto). As the Bat Dopant, she can use her ultrasonic voice to control vehicles such as a tank truck. She is defeated by Skull using the Skull Punisher to trap her under a truck she was using to fight him. Though she begs for his mercy in letting her go, Skull leaves her to die as the vehicle bursts into flames. She appears in the film Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & Double featuring Skull: Movie War Core, when the Pteranodon Yummy uses the Memory Memory to reveal the events of Sokichi Narumi's past.
The Bat Dopant is an homage to the inhumanoid Bat Man (蝙蝠男Kōmori Otoko) from the original Kamen Rider television series.
Eren Komori is portrayed by Reon Kadena (かでな れおんKadena Reon).[4]
Hiroshi Sagami[edit]

Three years prior to the storyline, Sagami lost his wife when she was gunned down by a criminal he arrested prior. Furious with the conclusion that law itself can never reform criminals, Sagami obtained the Commander Memory and becomes judge, jury, and executioner as the Commander Dopant (コマンダー・ドーパントKomandā Dōpanto), executing any criminals he comes across regardless of the severity of their crimes. Known as the One Dopant Army (ワン・ドーパント・アーミーWan Dōpanto Āmī), the Commander Dopant can create Kamen Soldiers (仮面兵士Kamen Heishi, Masked Soldiers) to fight for him with his gauntlet that materializes and destroys matter. After obtaining the Gaia Memory Enhancing Adapter from Aoi, the daughter of a petty thief he murdered in cold blood, the Commander Dopant acquires an upgraded form with the ability to fire a barrage of missiles. Seeing Ryu as a kindred spirit, Sagami kidnapped Akiko to force Ryu to open his heart back to brutal vengeance, making himself the villain and intends to have Ryu succeed his work. However, refusing to go down that path again, Ryu manages to get the Gaia Memory Enhancing Adapter and uses it to save his wife and defeat the Commander Dopant. Afterwards, Sagami was taken into custody.
Hiroshi Sagami is portrayed by Minoru Tanaka (田中 実Tanaka Minoru).

Shotaro takes on the case, allowing Yukie to manipulate his actions as Double to attack Saeko the following day, but Accel saves her at the last minute. Yukie's identity is revealed, and she states that the attack is actually an audition to join the museum. When she gets close enough to Saeko to exact her revenge, her powers are turned back to her due to Isaka's modifications of the Taboo Memory for such an attack. By turning around, the Old Dopant can switch from the rust-colored form he uses the Old Creak in to a patina-colored faster form that is geared towards combat. Although Shroud states that only the power of Kamen Rider W CycloneAccel Xtreme can defeat the Old Dopant, Accel holds the Dopant for Double CycloneJoker Xtreme to make a direct hit while in his aging state. When the Old Dopant assumes his fighting mode, Accel uses the Machine Gun Slasher to defeat the Old Dopant. Takashi Soma is portrayed by Masakazu Azuhata (小豆畑 雅一Azuhata Masakazu).[41]
Foundation X[edit]
Foundation X (財団XZaidan Ekkusu) is a mysterious research foundation that investigates provides funding to the Museum for their work in Gaia Memories. After Saeko is saved by one of its members, she unwillingly becomes an ally to their cause in return to take over the Museum from her father and sister. When Ryubee dies and the Museum is dissolved, Foundation X takes over the Gaia Impact project. But in the end, after Kazu dies, Foundation X cancels all investment in Gaia Memory, occasionally reappearing in other Kamen Rider series, performing research to focus on other prospective projects which include the O Medals in Kamen Rider OOO, the Cosmic Energy in Kamen Rider Fourze, the Rider Gashats in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and the Fullbottles in Kamen Rider Build.
Jun Kazu[edit]
Jun Kazu (加頭 順Kazu Jun) is the white lab coat-wearing researcher for Foundation X, a valuable member of the organization who allows himself to be modified by the research of those he represents. He appears cold and emotionless, speaking in a flat monotone and when he sees others display emotions, he will drop whatever object he is holding in his hand. However, when roused to sufficient anger he releases his emotions like a torrent. Becoming a sponsor to the Museum and overseeing their investments, Kazu obtains a Gaia Driver and a Gold Memory. This Gold Memory, known as the Utopia Memory, allows him to become the seemingly omnipotent Utopia Dopant (ユートピア・ドーパントYūtopia Dōpanto), with reality-bending powers that result from the Utopia Memory's ability to grant its user's wishes, mainly used to repel attacks aimed at him, and absorb the emotions of living beings to further power itself. During the events of Kamen Rider Eternal, Kazu is revealed to have been Doctor Prospect's liaison to the Foundation and gain the psychic abilities of a Quark that enhances his Dopant abilities. At that time, he could use the Eternal Memory to become Kamen Rider Eternal. However, his incompatibility with the imperfect T1 GaiaMemory only enabled him to assume the weaker Red Flare (レッドフレアReddo Furea) mode. When Katsumi Daido manages to synch up with the Gaia Memory and negates the Utopia Memory, Kazu is killed by a perfected Kamen Rider Eternal with his body taken by the Foundation to be revived as a Necro-Over.
Arriving in Futo after his conversion, Kazu saves Saeko from her near death at the hands of the Smilodon Dopant out of love while offering the Foundation's support in her attempt to overthrow her father and Wakana. The briefcase he carries with him at all times contains the 26 T2 Gaia Memories; he eventually relinquishes this briefcase to Tabata to send it back to Foundation X's research facilities. After Ryubee's death, Kazu manages to save Wakana from the burning wreckage of the Sonozaki estate with the intent to use her in the Foundation's own version of the Gaia Impact: digitizing her into one of the Foundation's satellites in order to kill all life on Earth that is not compatible with Gaia Memories in an act of cleansing the human race's impurities. However, Wakana's comatose state forces Kazu to wait until her power resurfaces. In order to awaken her and reclaim Saeko, Kazu reveals himself to the Kamen Riders and assumes his Dopant form to overpower them. After discovering that Philip's emotions are tied to Wakana's powers as ClayDoll Xtreme, he decides to attack everyone close to him in order to initiate the Gaia Impact. After he is exposed as a Necro-Over, Kazu professes his love for Saeko and reluctantly kills her when she rebuffs and attacks him. Shotaro breaks into his lair and uses the Memory Gadgets to disable him and save Wakana, catching Kazu as the Utopia Dopant in a massive explosion as the lab goes up around him. He survives, however, and comes after them, battling Kamen Rider Double CycloneJokerXtreme. The duo manage to further weaken him by overloading him with Philip's final feelings before using the Double Prism Xtreme Maximum Drive to defeat the Utopia Dopant. Stumbling to his feet, Kazu asks if his own crime was to love and clicks the Utopia Memory one more time before it shatters and he dissolves away into nothingness.
During the events of OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders, Utopia Dopant appears to be a member of Shocker in the altered timeline.

She is often seen with a stopwatch, as she is very strict when it comes to keeping schedules. She is shown to check her stopwatch frequently and doing strict allocations of time for matters, even interrupting others' talking and not sparing even a second more, should it affect her schedule. After Jun Kazu's defeat, she officially decides to end the foundation's Gaia Memory research.
Neon Ulsland is portrayed by Maria Theresa Gow (マリア・テレサ・ガウMaria Teresa Gau).[43]
Doctor Prospect[edit]
Doctor Prospect (ドクター・プロスペクトDokutā Purosupekuto) was a Foundation X scientist who during the events of Kamen Rider Eternal was studying the use of psychic ability and created an army of psychic-powered soldiers known as Quarks (クオークスKuōkusu). To enforce his will upon the Quarks, Prospect can assume the form of the Eyes Dopant (アイズ・ドーパントAizu Dōpanto), able to detect an opponent's next move to counterattack, to brand the Quarks with an eye marking on their foreheads that would kill them should they try to escape. He also uses barrier known as Heaven's Horn (ヘブンズホーンHebunzu Hōn) to weed out weaker Quarks and ensure they die a peaceful death. In his fight with Katsumi Daido as Kamen Rider Eternal, he manages to kill all of the Quarks, including Mina as it seemed at the time, which enrages Daido and makes him go mad, killing Doctor Prospect by destroying his Gaia Memory and leaving him victim to its psychic killing effect.

NEVER[edit]
The Special Mercenary Force 'NEVER' (特殊傭兵部隊NEVERTokushu Yōhei Butai Nebā) are composed of humans who have been revived from death and turned into super soldiers called Necro-Overs (ネクロオーバーNekuroōbā), the product of Maria Daido's research which Foundation X supported to replicate the conditions that made Raito Sonozaki into the Gaia Memory's avatar. Though much stronger, faster and more durable than normal humans, the downsides for Necro-Overs is their ability to feel emotions diminishes with time, gradually rendering them increasingly undead-like, while requiring regular bio-stabilizer injections to keep their bodies intact. When Foundation X abandoned them in favor of the higher diversity presented in Gaia Memory research, the NEVER became mercenaries while leaving a path of destruction in their wake to proof themselves superior to the Museum's 'toys'. But an encounter with Doctor Prospect drove their leader insane as the group destroy the Museum by obtaining the T2 Gaia Memories, which they use themselves, to power the X Bicker (エクスビッカーEkusu Bikkā) and covert residents of Futo residents into Necro-Overs. While Necro-Overs display exceptional compatibility with certain Gaia Memories, they are greater risk than normal humans as being struck with a Maximum Drive or Kamen Rider OOO's Scanning will cause the Necro-Over to disintegrate. They can become destabilized if injected with a bio-stabilizer blocker fluid, which reversible if the Necro-Over quickly administers an antidote. NEVER primarily appears in Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate, but their origins are revealed in Kamen Rider Eternal.
Katsumi Daido[edit]
Katsumi Daido (大道 克己Daidō Katsumi) is the leader of NEVER who fights with only a combat knife as his side arm. As revealed in The Beginning of N/Blood and Dream, Daido was born in Futo with a congenital heart defect. As a result, combined with a near-fatal car crash, his mother Maria uses her Necro-Over project research to revive her son as the first Necro-Over. Using bio-stimulants to enable him to properly age, Daido proves a superior fighter yet he and his mother turn against Foundation X after the organization shut down the Necro-Over project. Soon after, he recruits four people who recently died and were revived as Necro-Overs, forming a band of hired mercenaries. During one of their missions, Daido meets Mina and falls in love with her. During that time, Daido gains the experimental Eternal Memory and is able to transform into Kamen Rider Eternal (仮面ライダーエターナルKamen Raidā Etānaru). However, being forced to watch Mina seemingly die before his eyes turns Daido into a completely unfeeling monster as he kills Doctor Prospect, with the Eternal Memory getting damaged in the fight. Deciding to destroy Futo to wipe out the Museum, Daido serves as the main antagonist for W Forever and uses the T2 Eternal Memory to regain his Kamen Rider form. After his plans are thwarted by the combined efforts of Shotaro, Philip, and Maria, Daido utilizes all 26 T2 Gaia Memories to overpower Double, but is defeated and slain by CycloneJokerGoldXtreme. Long after their battle with the Museum ends, Shotaro and Philip learned the truth behind Daido's actions and pay their respects.

His Maximum Drive is called the Eternal Requiem (エターナルレクイエムEtānaru Rekuiemu) which generates a power wave that neutralizes an enemy's Gaia Memory in sight, while the T2 version neutralizes all Gaia Memories with the exception of T2 Memories, a variation of this finisher also executes a Rider Kick to the target. Eternal is armed with the combat knife called the Eternal Edge (エターナルエッジEtānaru Ejji), which he uses in another Maximum Drive called the Bloody Hell Blade (ブラッディヘルブレイドBuraddi Heru Bureido). Eternal can use other T2 Gaia Memories to access their powers like the T2 Unicorn Memory (T2ユニコーンメモリTī Tsū Yunikōn Memori) to create an energy drill around his fist and the T2 Zone Memory (T2ゾーンメモリTī Tsū Zōn Memori) to summon the other T2 Gaia Memories to him. In addition to the Maximum Slots on the Lost Driver and Eternal Edge, Eternal has a series of Gaia Memory Slots on combat belts around its chest, right arm, and left leg; with the Memory Slot in the Lost Driver, a total of 27. By filling all of these Memory Slots with the T2 Gaia Memories, Eternal is powered into his Strengthening Armament (強化武装Kyōka Busō) mode, able to absorb the X-Bicker energy to produce the Eternal Wave (エターナルウェーブEtānaru Wēbu) green aura that he uses in his Neverending Hell (ネバーエンディングヘルNebāendingu Heru) Maximum Drive.[44][45] His catchphrase is 'Now, enjoy your Hell' (さあ、地獄を楽しみなSaa, jigoku o tanoshimina).
